After extensive break testing on other manufacturer's wire gate carabiners, we chose a different design. Most standard stainless steel wire gate carabiners on the market today press or mill the connection point on the body of the carabiner. As seen here compared to our design on the left.
We chose not to press or mill the opening end of the gate connection point on the body of our carabiner.
This area proved to be the #1 point of failure in all wire gates that we tested.

All wire gates we tested failed in the same manor, the wire gate fails, or the carabiner's opening end connection point for the gate on the carabiner body breaks and then the body of the carabiner un-rolls until the load is released, see below.
Our tests showed that this pressed area failed across the test group @ less than (<) 22kN!
Our design reached 33+kN and did not break!
